Market Activation in Ikorodu
In April 2026, Beamer Bank engaged CMSL to intensify its push into Nigeria's SME communities with a three-day market activation in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos. The activation focused on traders in the Sabo market, spanning Gate 1, Gate 2, and Gate 3, and featured music, games, and Beamer trivia. The event was designed to strengthen market share and brand awareness, highlighting the ease of access to funds and swift response times offered to account holders.
Supervisor's Perspective
Sylvia-Mary Chimezie, who supervised the Beamer team during the activation, served as a liaison officer between Beamer Bank, CMSL, the Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), and GODSPOWERPROJECT. She ensured that DSAs adhered to the route plan, took mandatory breaks, and participated in activity reviews to re-strategize as needed. At the conclusion of the three-day activation, nearly 90 contacts opened and funded their accounts, while about 60 expressed interest without immediate funding. Others gained valuable product knowledge.
The activation also revealed that the Beamer brand was previously known as Gabsyn, a fact not widely known to the public.
