DLM Capital Group has introduced a new campaign designed to highlight its commitment to talent development and internal career advancement within the organization. The initiative, titled My DLM Story: Rising Through the Ranks, was launched in February 2026 and is currently being featured across the Group's social media platforms and YouTube channel. The campaign showcases employees whose careers have progressed through structured growth opportunities, cross-functional mobility, and leadership development programs.
Workplace Culture Emphasized
According to the company, the campaign provides insight into a workplace culture that fosters innovation, open dialogue, and continuous learning. It demonstrates how staff members have advanced through various roles to reach leadership positions. Among the featured employees is Kelechi Eke, the Acting Managing Director of DLM Asset Management Limited, who was promoted in January 2026. Her journey began as a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in the administrative team in 2012. Over the years, she transitioned across multiple roles, including Executive Assistant, Human Resources, Credit Analysis, and Head of Operations, before assuming her current leadership position. Reflecting on her career, she stated, "Anything worth doing at all is worth doing well," adding that taking ownership has been a defining aspect of her growth within the organization.
Similar Growth Patterns
A comparable growth trajectory is evident in Nathaneal Solomon, Managing Director of Citihoms Finance Company. He joined DLM Capital Group in 2014 as an Account Executive at DLM Securities. His career progression included leadership roles such as Deputy Managing Director at DLM Asset Management, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director of Citihoms Finance Company in 2025. Speaking about his experience, he remarked, "DLM is an environment that allows you to create ideas, put them to work, and learn from them," a factor he credits for his long tenure with the Group.
For Lola Razaaq, Managing Director of DLM Trust Company, her story is one of sustained growth. She joined the subsidiary at its early stages as Head of Business Development and has been instrumental in its evolution over the years. She highlighted the organization's culture as a key driver of her experience, noting that "DLM consistently promotes a culture of innovation and encourages work-life balance, to have a life apart from the work we do."
Recent Experiences Highlighted
The campaign also captures more recent experiences, such as that of Philip Nwafor, who joined the Group as a Senior Analyst in 2022 and has since transitioned into a Business Development Manager role at Citihoms Finance Company. His journey reflects a willingness to evolve and take on new challenges, shaped by a strong passion for learning. He described his experience as a "journey of value to vision," referencing moments such as his involvement in the formation of the DLM Fixed Income Fund at DLM Asset Management, which formed part of his broader growth within the organization.
Intentional Talent Development
Across these journeys, one thing stands out: talent development at DLM Capital Group is intentional and sustained. By creating pathways for employees to grow across roles and functions, the organization strengthens its internal capabilities, driving stronger performance and reinforcing its position as an innovative, leading development investment bank. Through My DLM Story: Rising Through the Ranks, the Group tells more than a story; it reflects a culture where growth happens over time and leadership is developed from within, reflecting the work environment that exists at DLM Capital Group.
