Dangote Group to Feature Flagship Refinery and Vision 2030 at Nasarawa Trade Fair 2026

Africa's leading conglomerate, Dangote Group, will prominently showcase its flagship Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company at the upcoming 2026 Nasarawa Trade Fair, scheduled to commence on April 20, 2026. The event will be officially inaugurated by Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, marking a significant moment for industrial development in the region.

Vision 2030 and Strategic Business Units on Display

In addition to the refinery, Dangote Industries Limited will present its ambitious Vision 2030, a strategic initiative focused on driving innovation and accelerating Africa's industrialization. As the major sponsor of the Nasarawa Trade Fair and Exhibition (NASTFE), the group aligns with this year's theme: "Unlocking Industrial Synergy: Deepening the Value Chain and Driving Inclusive Growth in Nasarawa State."

According to a statement from company spokesman Anthony Chiejina, multiple Strategic Business Units of Dangote Group will participate in the annual event held in the state capital, Lafia. Products featured will include:

Nasarawa State as a Key Investment Hub

Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, Regional Director and Senior Adviser to the Dangote Group President, emphasized Nasarawa State's critical role in the group's overall African investment strategy. "It is home to Dangote's Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited (NSCL). The sugar project, when completed, will be one of the biggest sugar investments in Africa," she stated.

Wali-Abdurrahman highlighted that the trade fair serves as a valuable platform for engaging key stakeholders and Nigerians interested in exploring business opportunities with the organization. A dedicated Help Desk will be established to handle inquiries, facilitating effective interactions with participants regarding Dangote Group's Strategic Business Units.

Alignment with Industrialization Goals

Nidan Sambo Manasseh, Chairman and Council member of the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI), Nasarawa State Chapter, noted that the trade fair's theme strongly aligns with Dangote Group's vision. "We align strongly with the vision of Aliko Dangote, whose leadership continues to shape Nigeria's economic future. His focus on industrialization, local production, and value creation inspires our efforts to connect MSMEs to structured value chains," he explained.

Manasseh added that through this partnership, a bridge is being built between grassroots businesses and large industries, driving inclusive growth. He described the third edition of NASTFE as a practical platform for business, industrial, and human capital development, rather than merely an exhibition.

Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Initiatives

A major highlight of this year's program is the Empowerment Skill Acquisition Programme (ESAP), now structured as a package project for sponsorship support. ESAP is a yearly initiative running from July to December, targeting 2,000 beneficiaries across all 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State.

The program is strategically designed as a mobile training system, moving from one Local Government to another to ensure inclusive grassroots participation. This approach underscores the commitment to fostering sustainable development and economic empowerment within the state.
