Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda Hosts Masterclass for Female Entrepreneurs
In a significant move to bolster financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills among women in Nigeria, Tosin Eniolorunda, the Group CEO of Moniepoint Inc., has partnered with ALX to host a comprehensive virtual masterclass. This four-hour session brought together 100 female business owners, aiming to transition them from petty trading to building valuable and scalable enterprises.
Structured Learning for Practical Impact
The masterclass was meticulously structured around three core modules: The Model, The Money, and The Plan. Each module was facilitated by subject matter experts and emphasized live, guided exercises over passive instruction, ensuring participants could immediately apply the concepts to their businesses.
During the session, attendees engaged in hands-on activities, including completing a one-page Lean Canvas draft to outline their business models. They also utilized a pricing and profit calculator to identify break-even points and profitability levers, empowering them with tools for financial decision-making.
Empowering Women with Financial Fundamentals
One of the key modules focused on building a scalable business model, guiding participants through customer definition, problem articulation, value proposition, and channel strategies. Another module delved into pricing and financial fundamentals, equipping women with the confidence to understand their numbers and make informed growth decisions.
To support smarter business growth, Iwalola Sobowale, Director of Customer Experience and Market Research at Moniepoint, addressed participants in a dedicated product session. Her insights aimed to enhance efficiency and innovation in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Resource Pack and Execution Roadmaps
Every participant left the masterclass with a resource pack containing tools and materials to continue applying the lessons learned. The session concluded with attendees drafting personal 30-60-90-day execution roadmaps, complete with weekly actions and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), fostering accountability and progress tracking.
