Pastor Lazarus Muoka Issues Stern Warning Against End-Time Clerics and Prayer Warriors
In a powerful Easter Sunday address, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Worldwide, delivered a stark admonition to church members, urging them to steer clear of what he termed "end-time specialists" in prayer, pastors, and prophets. Speaking at the church's headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, Muoka emphatically declared these figures as deceivers who offer nothing of spiritual value, emphasizing that only God's word holds true authority within The Lord's Chosen.
Testimony Sparks Cautionary Message
The pastor's remarks were prompted by a heartfelt testimony from a female member who recounted her distressing experience after leaving The Lord's Chosen for another ministry. According to Muoka, the woman described her life as miserable in the other church, leading her to return to The Lord's Chosen fold. He highlighted her transformation, noting that prior to her return, she had engaged in harmful behaviors such as lesbianism and smoking, even contemplating suicide. "When you come to Chosen, your life will change, and everything about you becomes new," Muoka assured the congregation, pointing to her as a living example of redemption.
Condemnation of False Prophets
Muoka did not mince words in his criticism of end-time clerics, asserting that they lack a genuine message of salvation and fail to foster true spiritual rebirth among their followers. "Forget about the end-time specialists in prayer, end-time pastors and prophets that have no message of salvation, even in their gathering people are not born again. Forget them, they are deception," he stated firmly. He called on believers to embrace the true God found in The Lord's Chosen, where the focus is solely on magnifying the word of God, as echoed in Jesus' teaching to seek first the kingdom of God.
Assurance of Divine Protection and Blessings
Reminding members of their privileged position in the Lord, Muoka proclaimed that being part of The Lord's Chosen equates to operating in dominion and experiencing victory and blessings in all aspects of life. He painted a vivid picture of spiritual authority, claiming that enemies, whether in dreams or physical reality, cannot stand before a Chosen member. "When you tell them who you are, whether they are ritualists, armed robbers, they must bow before you," he declared, welcoming back those who had strayed and encouraging others to learn from their experiences.
Call to Covenant and Holiness
Drawing from Isaiah 43:10-11, Muoka urged the congregation to enter into a covenant with God, assuring them of His faithfulness as a covenant keeper. He outlined the path to receiving God's blessings, which includes maintaining holiness, righteousness, and peace with others. "As you enter into a covenant with God, and maintain holiness, righteousness, peace with other people, I will command the blessings of God to follow you and it shall come to pass," he promised, reinforcing the church's commitment to spiritual integrity and divine favor.
