Primate Ayodele's 2026 Prophecy: Health Crises, Political Drama, Tax Warning
Primate Ayodele's 2026 Prophecies for Nigeria, World

As the world ushered in the year 2026, prominent Nigerian cleric Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has issued a series of prophetic revelations detailing significant challenges and events he foresees for Nigeria and the global community in the coming months.

Health Warnings and Global Disasters Foretold

In a video message shared on his official Facebook page on Friday, January 2, 2026, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, Oke Afa, delivered sobering predictions. He cautioned that 2026 will witness serious health challenges, particularly concerning heart-related ailments.

"Many people will die of heart attack. There would be heart sicknesses. Just watch. Doctors are going to work on plenty heart diseases," Primate Ayodele stated emphatically.

Beyond health, the cleric warned of impending global tragedies, predicting that the world will witness several air accidents. He also indicated that the deaths of prominent personalities are "imminent" in the new year.

Political Drama and Security Concerns for Nigeria

Turning his focus to the Nigerian political landscape, Primate Ayodele forecast significant internal strife within the country's major political parties as the nation builds towards the 2027 general elections.

"You will see a lot of political drama in APC, ADC, and PDP as well," he revealed.

On security, the prophet expressed grave concerns, urging vigilance against persistent terrorist threats. "Let's hope terrorists will not attack churches. Terrorism is not yet over," he said. He also predicted that the United States will carry out another airstrike, potentially as early as January 2026, advising the Nigerian government to "watch very carefully."

Further predictions included warnings about fire outbreaks and explosions, prompting a call for prayers for President Bola Tinubu to have rest of mind.

Stark Warning on Tax Reforms and the Economy

Primate Ayodele waded directly into the ongoing national controversy surrounding the newly implemented tax reforms. The reforms, which sparked public outrage after allegations by lawmaker Abdussamad Dasuki on December 17 about discrepancies in the gazetted copies, have been a focal point of debate.

Despite directives from the National Assembly leadership to Clerk Kamoru Ogunlana on December 26 to re-gazette the laws, and President Tinubu's affirmation on Tuesday, December 30, that there was no reason to halt implementation from January 1, the cleric issued a stern political warning.

"If Tinubu goes ahead with the tax reform, Nigerians will go against his second term," Ayodele declared. He painted a grim picture for the year ahead, stating, "2026, as a matter of fact, Nigerians should expect more hardship, unless they change the method."

Offering economic advice, the prophet cautioned against excessive borrowing, describing it as "suicidal for the Nigerian economy." Instead, he urged President Tinubu to "maximise the potential of the mineral resources that we have."

The release of these prophecies coincides with similar New Year messages from other respected Nigerian religious figures, including Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), who foretold economic recovery and shifts in migration trends during his crossover service at Redemption City.
