The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has granted admission to a young woman eight years after she completed secondary education, following a single attempt at the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The lady celebrated her matriculation on social media, sharing her journey that captivated many users.

She emphasized that she wrote the JAMB exam only once and was offered her preferred course of study. Her post read: "I decided to go back to school after 8 years I had left secondary school, and everything worked out more than my expectations."
The young lady, identified as @abismahglam on TikTok, further stated: "I wrote JAMB once, I gained admission. I was given the course I chose." Her achievement resonated with many, prompting an outpouring of supportive comments.
