The event took place on 9 January 2026 at the Conference Hall of the Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB) Headquarters in Gusau. A joint delegation comprising the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), the Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON), and the Education Secretaries Forum gathered to appreciate the governor's visionary leadership.
Representing Governor Dauda Lawal was the Executive Chairman of ZSUBEB, Professor Nasir Garba Anka. He welcomed the stakeholders and conveyed the governor's profound appreciation for their dedication to building the nation through education.
