Industrialist Urges Nigerian Youth to Drive National Growth Through Innovation
At the fourth convocation ceremony of Trinity University in Yaba, Lagos, industrialist and Founder of the Doyin Group of Companies, Prince Samuel Adedoyin, delivered a powerful charge to Nigerian youth. Serving as Chancellor of the university, Adedoyin emphasized that embracing innovation and resilience is crucial for driving national growth and building a prosperous future.
Call to Action for Graduates
Addressing the graduating class, Adedoyin urged them to look beyond their academic achievements and view themselves as the architects of Nigeria's future. He stated that despite current challenges, a brighter future awaits those ready to solve problems through creativity and determination.

Advice to Government and University Leadership

Deacon Adebowale Tade, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, reminded graduates that their purpose extends far beyond obtaining a degree, urging them to let integrity guide their paths. Vice Chancellor Professor Clement Kolawole challenged alumni to stay focused on their ambitions and refuse to be defeated by obstacles, emphasizing perseverance in the face of adversity.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 200 students who received their degrees from various faculties:
- Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences: 101 graduates
- Faculty of Basic and Applied Medical Sciences: 64 graduates
- Faculty of Nursing Sciences: 35 graduates
Academic honors were distributed as follows:
- First Class degrees: 51 students
- Second Class Upper Division: 61 students
- Second Class Lower Division: 55 students
- Third Class: 4 students
Additionally, 12 students from the Centre for Addiction Science and Behavioural Psychology received their diplomas. The event recognized Emmanuel Oluwadarasimi Tanimowo of Computer Science and Ifeoluwa Oluwatofunmi Adeyeye of Mass Communication as the best graduating students, both achieving a perfect CGPA of 5.00.
