The University of Ibadan (UI) has granted admission to a young lady who achieved an impressive score in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination and performed well in the institution's post-UTME assessment. Exceptional JAMB and Post-UTME Performance
A post on Facebook by Adelabu John celebrated the achievements of Fayokun Mary, who recently matriculated at the University of Ibadan. According to the post, Mary scored 332 in JAMB, with outstanding marks in individual subjects: 97 in Mathematics, 79 in English, 75 in Physics, and 81 in Chemistry. She also excelled in the UI post-UTME, scoring 66%, which contributed to an overall aggregate of 74.5%.
A Story of Perseverance and Excellence
Adelabu John, who knew Mary from secondary school, described her as a diligent and focused student who overcame challenges to achieve her goals. He noted that she passed all her O-level examinations with flying colors before securing admission to UI. In his words, 'If this is not outstanding excellence, then tell me what is?' He further expressed optimism about her future, predicting that she would become a professor.
