Destiny Boy's Father Cries Out Over Missing SUV

The family of the late Afrofuji singer, Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has been thrown into fresh turmoil following the mysterious disappearance of the artist's vehicle just days after his passing.

A Father's Emotional Plea to the Public

In a heartfelt video that has since gone viral, Destiny Boy's distraught father made a public appeal for help. He revealed that his son's SUV jeep could not be located merely two days after the 22-year-old singer died on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

The grieving father explained that he and his late son had purchased the vehicle together from a company identified as Lycon Autos. According to his account, the dealership provided a driver on the day of purchase to deliver the car. Destiny Boy subsequently employed the driver for personal use.

"Nigerians, please help me," the father pleaded emotionally. "My son has a car, and the car is with Lycon Autos. Although the car is not new, it is an SUV jeep. We went together to buy it... The driver said Destiny owed him, so he took the car back to where we bought it, and I don’t have his number. If the car were to be here, I would have picked it up."

Conflicting Narratives on the Singer's Death

This incident adds another layer of grief for the family, who are still grappling with the sudden loss. The circumstances of Destiny Boy's death have been subject to speculation. Initially, a female friend attributed his passing to an unknown sickness.

However, in a separate revelation, the singer's mother disclosed that her son had been suffering from epilepsy, which she indicated was the cause of his death. This clarification came amid unfounded rumours of money rituals, which were addressed by Destiny Boy's sister in an earlier emotional video.

Mixed Reactions from Nigerians Online

The father's public appeal for the missing vehicle has sparked a heated debate across social media platforms, particularly on TikTok where the video was widely shared. The reactions have been sharply divided.
