Ned Nwoko Reveals Regina Daniels' Drug Abuse, Family Conflict Details
Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence on Regina Daniels Marital Crisis

Senator Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence on Troubled Marriage

Senator Ned Nwoko has finally addressed the ongoing marital conflict with his wife, popular actress Regina Daniels, following the recent arrest of her brother Samuel Daniels, known as Sammy West. In a detailed statement that sheds new light on their private struggles, the politician made serious allegations about drug abuse and family interference.

Drug Abuse Allegations and Family Influence

Nwoko revealed that Regina Daniels has been undergoing rehabilitation for drug dependence, with medical professionals advising restricted contact with certain individuals. However, he claims her siblings and friends consistently undermined her recovery process. "They would come into the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, bringing her the same drugs she was being treated for," Nwoko alleged.

The senator specifically named Regina's brothers Sammy and Destiny, along with friend Sonia Uche Montana, as constant disruptors of the recovery plan. He made the shocking claim that Sammy and his brother Lawrence first introduced Regina to the drugs and that both brothers, along with some friends, are users themselves.

Financial Support and Family Harassment

Nwoko detailed extensive financial support provided to Regina's family, including:

  • Sponsoring Sammy's final two years at University of Ekpoma
  • Purchasing musical instruments for Sammy
  • Renting and furnishing a flat in Abuja for Sammy
  • Buying a house in Asaba for Regina before marriage
  • Providing $75,000 for Lawrence's master's degree in London
  • Routine allowances to all family members, including mother Rita Daniels

Nwoko disclosed transferring ₦125 million to Regina in the last two years alone. Despite this generosity, he described repeated incidents of harassment from Sammy, who allegedly came to his house to threaten children, domestic staff, and security officers, particularly when Nwoko was absent.

Confrontations and Security Concerns

The senator recounted a dramatic 4 a.m. confrontation after discovering Regina "high and on the phone" with Sammy's girlfriend present in their home. After asking the girlfriend to leave, Sammy arrived shouting and making threats, waking everyone including children. "I had to order my security to push him out," Nwoko stated.

He also described troubling behavior from Regina, including staying out all night without responding to calls and failing to return home after their children's birthday celebration. "I took so much nonsense for the sake of the kids," he expressed emotionally.

Staged Video and Legal Troubles

Nwoko dismissed the viral video showing altercations at his residence as a staged production. "The video was filmed entirely in front of my house by Regina's sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood scene," he claimed, emphasizing that everything occurred in his absence and nobody was beaten.

Regarding Sammy's recent arrest, Nwoko suggested it was part of a larger pattern, noting Sammy has been arrested several times by police and EFCC. He concluded that what Sammy needs now is "total rehabilitation" rather than continued financial support.

The senator's statement comes amid intense social media drama between him and the Daniels family, including allegations that he sent thugs to assault Regina - claims he has strongly denied. This public revelation marks a significant escalation in the ongoing marital dispute that has captivated Nigerian social media audiences.
