Shan George Defends Yul Edochie and Judy Austin

Veteran Nollywood actress Shan George has publicly defended her junior colleagues, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin-Edochie, urging critics to halt their long-standing backlash.

Shan George's Facebook Post

In a Facebook post, George questioned the ongoing public hostility toward the couple years after Edochie left his first wife and four children to marry Austin. She cautioned critics against playing God and strongly appealed to Nigerians to practice forgiveness.

She wrote: Do you believe that God is in control? Do you have children? Do you know tomorrow? Do you think you are wiser than God? Please ask yourself these questions and deeply reason it.

First off, I have never met or spoken to Judy ever before in my life, so do not get this twisted. (Feel free to abuse me, that is how they abused and killed Jesus for preaching forgiveness and no hate.)

If you are still at this point in time still dragging Yul and Judy, after all these years, and three kids down, it means you are playing God, or you have another secret evil agenda.

Because that particular kind of hate is what Jesus Christ spent years and died preaching about. If you are still hating, being unforgiving, and you are still entering church, you have no fear of God. Read your Bible.

Do not use your own hands to block your own blessings. The only one who should throw stones, which is Jesus, he never did. Are you sinless? Why is your soul so hateful?

It is God who plots the graph of life. He has his ways and only he knows why. Your own hate for another person can stop your blessings. This is why you can never catch me hating anyone. If Judy dies now, your life's problems will still be there. It is not she who is doing anyone. What has happened has already happened. Leave the rest to God.

Everyone should leave it to God and move on. God bless you.
