Spotify's 'Your Party Of The Year' Celebrates 20 Years in Africa

Global audio streaming platform Spotify is celebrating two decades of sound, discovery, and culture by introducing a new mobile-only in-app experience called 'Spotify 20: Your Party Of The Year.' This feature provides listeners with a personalized retrospective of their music journey on the platform. Now available to users in Nigeria and Kenya, Spotify 20 transforms each listener's history into a nostalgic celebration, highlighting the songs, artists, and milestones that have shaped their time on Spotify.

Personalized Insights and Shareable Memories

Through this experience, users can discover tailored insights such as their first day on Spotify, the total number of unique songs they have listened to, their first streamed song, and their all-time most-streamed artists. Each data story concludes with a shareable card, enabling fans to save their results, send them to friends, or post them across social media platforms.

A Celebration of Musical Journeys

For listeners in Nigeria and Kenya, Spotify 20 offers a fresh way to revisit the songs that have accompanied everyday moments, major milestones, and cultural shifts. Jocelyne Muhutu-Remy, Managing Director for Spotify in Africa, stated: 'Spotify has always been about making listening personal.
