The Kano State Police Command has taken a well-known TikTok personality, Fati Cele, into custody following the tragic death of her boyfriend, Isma'il Makaye, which occurred at her residence in Kano.

A source alleged that Cele raised an alarm about a fire breaking out at her home. Shortly after, Makaye was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts to save him, he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Makaye, who worked as a cosmetics trader based in Kano, has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic burial rites. The police have not yet released further information regarding the cause of the fire or the exact events leading to Makaye's death.
