Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has fired back at his former friend Seun Kuti, who had earlier stated that he does not seek respect from anyone. The online activist released a video addressing the singer's comments, escalating their ongoing feud.
VDM's Response to Seun Kuti
In his video, VDM accused Seun Kuti of lacking self-respect and claimed that the singer disrespected himself through his actions. He vowed that if he ever encounters Seun Kuti in person, he will neither greet nor hug him. Additionally, he promised never to speak about Kuti again publicly.
VDM explained that he would not resort to personal attacks against Seun Kuti because of his deep respect for Fela Kuti, the legendary Afrobeat pioneer and Seun's father. He recalled visiting Fela's grave with Seun, where they both paid homage and broke a kola nut together. VDM emphasized that Fela did what many feared during the military era, which is why he will always hold the late musician in high esteem.
