In a fresh twist to an ongoing controversy, social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has presented counterclaims against the founder of Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor. This follows a recent church service where the cleric presented his daughter to address allegations.
VDM Disputes Altar Presentation, Alleges Second Daughter
The dispute escalated after Pastor Chris Okafor, during a service at his church, brought forward a young woman he introduced as his daughter, Chidera. The pastor stated she was the individual referenced in a voice note that had been shared online by VDM, aiming to dispel the activist's claims.
However, reacting in a video of his own, VDM strongly disputed this presentation. The activist asserted that the person he claimed to have spoken with was a different individual entirely. According to VDM, he communicated with a 20-year-old identified as Previous Chidera Okafor, while the pastor presented Daniella Chidera Okafor on the altar.
VDM explained that both women are allegedly Pastor Okafor's daughters but from different mothers, which he claimed accounts for them sharing the same first name, Chidera. He further alleged that the Chidera he spoke with had left the cleric's home in the year 2020.
Serious Allegations and Calls for Clarification
In his detailed remarks, VDM made additional serious allegations concerning the circumstances of the birth of the Chidera he referenced. He stressed that these were claims presented to him, stating the cleric allegedly impregnated that Chidera's mother when she was 15 years old. VDM was careful to note these were allegations and not yet established facts.
To bring clarity to the situation, VDM has called for DNA tests to be conducted for all individuals who have publicly claimed to be Pastor Chris Okafor's daughters. He argued that such scientific verification would help settle the controversy definitively.
The activist added that if the DNA results confirm paternity, the cleric should publicly acknowledge the children and take full responsibility for them. Expressing a personal opinion on the matter, VDM suggested that Pastor Okafor should temporarily step aside from his church leadership duties until the issues raised are properly clarified and resolved.

The controversy also ties back to earlier allegations made by actress Doris Ogala, to which Pastor Okafor had reacted during a sermon, demanding proof and blasting the actress.
