Witch doctor claims curse lifted after Kane miss

Ghanaian witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who previously claimed to have placed a curse on England captain Harry Kane ahead of their World Cup clash, now says he has lifted the jinx. Bonsam, who calls himself 'Africa's only Authentic Man' and draws power from the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine, had vowed to stop Kane from scoring.

England struggled to break down Ghana's resolute defense and were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw in Boston. In the closing stages, Kane had a golden opportunity to score but lashed the ball over the bar. The goalless draw brought renewed attention to Bonsam's claims.

Bonsam releases Kane from spiritual hold

In a Facebook video after the match, Bonsam said: 'I am the most powerful spiritualist in the whole world. Now, I am going to release Harry Kane so that, in his next match, he can score. Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t be offended. We are friends.'
