Woman's revenge plan backfires
A Nigerian woman has shared a humorous story on X (formerly Twitter) about how she tried to pay her husband back after catching him staring at a beautiful woman. According to her post, she took no offense at his action but decided to retaliate by staring at a handsome man when one passed by, making sure her husband noticed.
The incident
The woman explained that she and her husband were returning from shopping for their children's clothes when her husband spotted an attractive woman and looked. She said she did not take offense but less than three minutes later, they saw a handsome man she described as 'Chike standard'. She wrote: 'I looked, I stared, I moped, I turned my neck 360 degrees. I almost asked my husband to stop the car so that I can take my time to appreciate God's masterpiece.'
Husband's reaction
However, her plan to annoy her husband failed. She said her husband looked at her as if to say 'I know what you are doing, but that thing wey you want make I talk, I nor go talk' and kept quiet. She concluded: 'Mission partially accomplished. I accomplished staring at God's masterpiece. But I didn't accomplish looking for my husband's trouble. We live to try another day!'
