The 2025 Detty December season in Delta State witnessed a powerful fusion of entertainment and social impact, driven by a strategic partnership between Rave Experience and Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited. The collaboration powered two major events that successfully blended music, culture, and community development, drawing massive crowds and creating significant opportunities for local youths and businesses.
Massive Turnout and Star-Studded Performances
The twin events were held in Warri on December 21, 2025, and in Asaba on December 26, 2025. According to organisers, the concerts attracted a combined audience of over 38,000 attendees, with guests arriving early and sustaining vibrant activity late into the night at both venues.
Music formed the core of the experience, featuring nonstop performances from a lineup of top DJs and artists. The Warri edition was headlined by the dynamic duo of DJ Kaywise and dancer Poco Lee, while DJ Neptune (Greatness) led the charge at the Asaba event. Organisers reported smooth coordination and consistently high energy from the crowds throughout both programmes.
Economic Boost and Major Educational Empowerment
Beyond the entertainment, the events served as a substantial platform for local commerce. Between 175 to 190 vendors participated across the two locations, offering a wide range of products from food and fashion to accessories and lifestyle goods. The high foot traffic provided these businesses with direct customer engagement and enhanced brand visibility.
The social impact agenda, particularly in education, was a cornerstone of the initiative. With the support of title sponsor Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd., the event facilitated a major scholarship award. Twenty students from across Delta State received N1 million each, amounting to a total scholarship fund of N20 million. The students were selected from both Warri and Asaba.
Additional sponsor Moniepoint contributed through a phone giveaway raffle draw. The events also received official endorsement from the Delta State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
A Growing Movement for Niger Delta Development
Rave Experience furthers its community goals through its Rave for Impact programme, funded directly from ticket sales. This initiative supports primary and secondary schools in the Niger Delta by providing educational materials like books and school bags, alongside assistance with school fees.
Founder of Rave Experience, Mr. Omatseye Omamofe Daniel, emphasised that the platform is "more than an event; it is a growing movement focused on promoting oneness, culture, and the vibrant people of the Niger Delta." He stated that Rave creates a shared space where love, unity, and cultural pride come alive through music and entertainment.
Omamofe revealed that Rave Experience currently operates in four cities and plans to expand to a fifth in 2026. The vision is to use entertainment to redefine the narrative of the South-South, showcasing the region's wealth in talent, culture, and tourism potential beyond oil. "We are grateful to our sponsors and partners whose support continues to make this vision possible," he added.
This successful edition of Rave Experience in Delta State underscores the expanding role of culture-driven events in fostering youth empowerment, supporting education, and driving economic activity, while decisively expanding Nigeria's entertainment landscape beyond the traditional hubs of Lagos and Abuja.
