A rare video of Alexx Ekubo's widow, Anwuli Ekubo, has surfaced online during the actor's service of songs held in Lagos. The grieving wife was seen worshipping through tears as family, friends, and colleagues gathered to honor the late Nollywood star.

The moving footage, captured on Wednesday, June 10, in Lagos, offered many Nigerians their first glimpse of Anwuli, who had largely stayed out of the public eye since Alexx's passing in May after a battle with cancer. In the now-viral clip, she appeared dressed in a flowing white outfit, accompanied by a nose mask and dark shades, singing along during a worship session despite her grief.
However, another image from the event showed a different side of her emotional burden. Anwuli was seen in tears as tributes were paid to her late husband, overcome with emotion and comforted by two women seated beside her.
Family Tribute
During the service, Anwuli's sister delivered an emotional tribute, revealing that the family felt immediately at ease when Alexx formally approached them to seek Anwuli's hand in marriage. She described him as an intentional and loving husband, noting that from the beginning, they saw qualities that convinced them he was the right man for their daughter and sister.
