Police Officers Claim Lagos Origin in Arrest Linked to Ex-Lover
Ogala later revealed that the officers informed her they were from Lagos and that the arrest was connected to her ongoing case with her ex-lover, Pastor Chris Okafor. She emotionally declared, "They say they are from Lagos. Chris does not want to leave me alone. He has carried me to three courts. Now he has taken me to seven police offices. There is one in zone 2, there is one in Abuja zone 7. He has carried me to more than seven. These ones say they are from Lagos. They have surrounded my house. If you people do not see me again, you people should hold Chris Okafor responsible."
Background of the Conflict with Pastor Chris Okafor
The conflict between Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor escalated after the clergyman announced plans to marry someone else. Ogala has publicly claimed that they were lovers and that Okafor had promised to marry her before jilting her for another woman. This has led to a series of legal and police interventions, with Ogala alleging multiple court cases and police station visits orchestrated by Okafor.
The video of Ogala speaking about the arrest was shared on Instagram by Lindaikejiblog, highlighting the public nature of the dispute. The incident underscores the personal and legal turmoil affecting the actress, as she faces police action in what she describes as a targeted harassment campaign by her ex-lover.
