PAC Foundation Brings Festive Relief to Ajegunle with Free Medical Care, Food for 300
PAC Foundation's 2025 Outreach Aids 300 Ajegunle Residents

Residents of Ajegunle in Lagos State received a significant boost during the 2025 festive season thanks to a targeted humanitarian intervention. The PanAfrican Capital Foundation (PAC Foundation) executed its end-of-year community outreach in December 2025, delivering essential free medical services and vital food supplies to underserved households in the area.

Dual Support for Immediate Needs

The outreach was strategically designed to tackle two pressing challenges simultaneously. Over 200 bags of food items were distributed to 200 separate households, providing direct nutritional support. In a parallel effort, 100 members of the Ajegunle community benefited from comprehensive free medical screenings and consultations. This dual approach aimed at offering timely relief during a period often marked by increased economic strain for low-income families.

Foundation Leadership on Sustainable Impact

Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Secretary of PAC Foundation, Omolola Ojo, reinforced the organization's core mission. She stated that sustainable development must start by addressing fundamental human needs. Ojo explained that the outreach was more than charity; it was an effort to restore dignity, promote wellbeing, and show vulnerable communities they are seen and supported, especially when economic pressures mount.

The medical component, conducted in partnership with Sage Diagnostics, focused on basic health checks and consultations. The goal was to encourage proactive health management through early detection and the adoption of healthier living practices among residents.

Structured for Short and Long-Term Value

Oluwayomi Tobi-Ayegun, the Foundation's Programmes and Evaluation Manager, detailed the thought process behind the intervention's structure. By integrating food support with healthcare access, the program directly confronted the intertwined issues of nutrition and healthcare that many low-income households face. Tobi-Ayegun noted that the strong turnout and active engagement from community members underscored the critical importance of bringing such services directly to the people who need them most.

Local community leaders praised the Foundation for its organized and impactful approach. A representative from the community leadership team expressed profound gratitude, highlighting that the initiative brought real relief at a time when many families are struggling. The leaders appreciated PAC Foundation for remembering Ajegunle and making a tangible investment in the community's wellbeing.

This outreach is a key part of PAC Foundation's broader mission to enhance the quality of life in underserved Nigerian communities through focused interventions in health, education, and social welfare. The Foundation has reiterated its commitment to deepening such community engagements and expanding its positive impact across Nigeria.
