Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has called for unwavering support for the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to enable the delivery of more people-oriented projects across the state.
Garo made the appeal while receiving party stakeholders and community leaders during a courtesy visit at his office. He urged the delegation to promote peace and tranquility in Kano.
Addressing the delegations, Garo emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and collective responsibility among political stakeholders and supporters. He urged party faithful and grassroots mobilizers to remain steadfast and committed as preparations gather momentum ahead of Governor Yusuf's anticipated re-election campaign.
The Deputy Governor noted that maintaining cohesion and strengthening collaboration across political and community structures would be vital to consolidating the achievements recorded by the current administration and expanding its support base throughout Kano State.
He reiterated the government's commitment to delivering people-oriented policies and projects, stressing that sustained public support and political harmony remain essential ingredients for continued development and progress in the state.
Among the visitors were former Chief of Staff Ibrahim Muhammad Kankarofi and members of the Malam Shekarau Shura Advisory Council, led by Umar Musa Mustapha, among others.
In their separate remarks, leaders of the delegations reaffirmed their support for the administration of Governor Yusuf and his deputy, pledging continued cooperation towards the development of Kano State.
In a related development, the Deputy Governor also received the immediate past members of the State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on a courtesy visit.
