“I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that there is no truth whatsoever in such claims,” Oloriegbe said. He emphasized that he remains fully committed to securing the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket and has not endorsed any other candidate. His decision to contest, he explained, stems from a sincere belief in the need for experienced, competent, and inclusive leadership to advance Kwara State.

Call for support in primary election

With the party’s governorship primary rescheduled to this morning, Oloriegbe urged his supporters, delegates, and all progressive-minded party members to turn out in large numbers to vote for him. He also called for peace, order, and adherence to the law throughout the exercise, stating, “Our strength as progressives lies in our commitment to democracy, fairness, and unity of purpose.”
