Armed bandits have killed 11 residents in a deadly attack on Gurbi Village, located in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State. The assailants also left two other people injured during the assault, which occurred on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

According to the state Police spokesman, DSP Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu, the armed bandits launched the attack at approximately 2:40 p.m. The terrorists opened fire on unsuspecting residents, killing the victims on the spot. Security Response
