Police Account of the Accident

According to Maureen Chioma Chinaka, the spokesperson for the Abia State Police Command, the accident involved two motorcycles that collided head-on. This collision caused passengers to be thrown onto the road. Miss Ifeanyi Mmesoma Miracle was subsequently run over by an oncoming Mack truck, leading to her immediate death at the Water Board area of Uturu.

Chinaka stated, "The command is aware of the incident, which occurred at the Water Board area of Uturu on April 19, 2026. Two motorcycles were involved in a head-on collision, causing passengers to be thrown onto the road. This led to the death of Miss Ifeanyi Mmesoma Miracle, who was run over by a moving Mack truck."

Response and Aftermath

Following the accident, officers from the Motor Traffic Department visited the scene to conduct investigations. Injured victims from the collision were promptly taken to a hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment and responding well.
