A Michigan court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, after she failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing related to a driving under the influence (DUI) case.

According to court records, a judge on Wednesday authorised a $10,000 bench warrant following Scott’s absence from proceedings connected to her arrest on May 13. Scott had been due to attend a hearing concerning the DUI charge but did not appear before the court. Following her non-attendance, prosecutors requested that a bench warrant be issued and also sought the forfeiture of her pre-trial release bond.
