The incident, which occurred around 3:00 a.m., cast a shadow over the Easter period, as the vehicles, belonging to Silver Transport Company, were parked and prepared for interstate trips.

A manager from a logistics firm operating within the park, who spoke anonymously, confirmed that the explosion happened while the buses were stationary. He noted that the affected vehicles were newly acquired, but expressed relief that no casualties were recorded. The source emphasized that the buses were powered by CNG, raising immediate concerns about the safety of this technology.
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant agencies have since arrived at the scene to assess the situation and determine the cause of the explosion.
