In a shocking incident in Shreveport, Louisiana, a mother has been accused of kicking her 4-year-old daughter out of a second-story window, leaving the young child with two broken arms. According to reports from the Bossier City Police Department, detectives initiated an investigation after the victim was brought to a hospital with severe injuries to both wrists and forearms.
Investigation Reveals Disturbing Details
Sergeant Shawn Poudrier of the Bossier City Police Department stated that during the investigation, detectives uncovered evidence suggesting the mother pushed and kicked her daughter out of the window. "After the detectives began investigating, they found out that the mother of the child pushed her, kicked her out of the window," Poudrier explained, highlighting the gravity of the alleged act.
Mother Already in Custody on Related Charges
Authorities attempted to contact the victim's mother, identified as 37-year-old Sharonica Davis, but discovered she was already incarcerated. Davis had been charged with cruelty to juveniles in connection to the same window-kicking incident. Subsequently, the Bossier City Police Department added an additional charge of attempted second-degree murder, as reported by local outlets.
