Habibu Oshafu, a graduate of Accounting from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has been arrested for allegedly stealing a motorcycle at the permanent site of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia).
Suspect Apprehended by Security Personnel
The suspect, who hails from Keana Local Government Area, graduated from the state-owned university in 2016. He was apprehended by security personnel of FULafia's security unit on Thursday, June 18, 2026, and is currently in custody.
Previous Offense
Oshafu had been apprehended months ago over a similar act and handed over to security for appropriate action. The university community has expressed concern over the recurrence of such incidents.
