Pantamiyya Movement Denies Brotherhood Group Approval

The leadership of the Pantamiyya Movement has officially distanced itself from any group, association, or entity operating under the name Pantamiyya Movement Brotherhood. In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by Professor Suleiman Muhammad, the Movement declared that it has not authorized any such organization to act on its behalf.

Fraudulent Activities Exposed

The statement emphasized that any claims, activities, or political endorsements made by individuals using the name Pantamiyya Movement Brotherhood are fraudulent and should be disregarded. The Movement described these individuals as unauthorized persons, commonly referred to as 419ers, who have no official affiliation with the Pantamiyya Movement.

According to the statement, these fraudsters approach politicians who lack grassroots support and offer to issue endorsements in exchange for payment. The Movement warned that such actions are carried out without permission, exploiting the popularity of Malam Isa Pantami, the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy. The statement advised politicians to focus on building genuine support among the grassroots rather than seeking to attach themselves to the Pantamiyya name.

Call for Public Vigilance

The Pantamiyya Movement urged the public to be cautious and to report any individuals claiming to represent the Pantamiyya Movement Brotherhood to the appropriate authorities. It noted that these individuals do not possess any letter of accreditation from the Movement and are likely engaging in extortion or other criminal activities. The Movement also called on security institutions to investigate these fraudulent activities to prevent further crimes committed in its name.

The statement further clarified that these unauthorized endorsements are made purely for economic gain and lack any principled basis. It reiterated that the only official communications and positions from the Pantamiyya Movement are those issued through its recognized channels. The public is advised to rely solely on these official statements for accurate information regarding the Movement's stance on any matter.
