Preliminary police investigations have revealed that the arrested suspects are members of the Eiye and Aiye confraternities, groups notorious for instigating violent clashes across various parts of Ondo State. Specifically, they were connected to a cult-related confrontation that occurred on April 9, 2026, within the premises of Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo.
