The PSC reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free and warned that any form of job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law. Candidates are advised to beware of fraudsters and report any suspicious activities.
FCT Police Command Security Visit
In a related development, the Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, conducted a security assessment visit to Kuchi-Bena Village and Winning Court Estate in Lifecamp, Abuja. The visit aimed to evaluate the security situation and strengthen deployments in the area.
During the visit, the CP carried out an on-the-spot assessment of the security architecture and inspected a newly established police outpost provided by the estate. He subsequently directed the deployment of additional personnel to effectively man the facility and enhance operational efficiency.
Community Relations and Anti-Crime Measures
According to a statement by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, the visit was also aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence. The police commissioner has scheduled a meeting with community leaders of Kuchi-Bena Village and residents of Winning Court Estate to address tensions and strengthen relations between indigenes and estate residents.
The CP also ordered intelligence-led raids and intensified anti-crime patrols in the area to forestall criminal activities and ensure a sustained security presence. Residents of the FCT were urged to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the FCT Police Command.
