According to reports from Daily Trust, Saudi security personnel and emergency medical teams removed the deceased from the site in the early hours following the pilgrims' overnight journey from Arafat to Muzdalifah. Witnesses reported that the pilgrim was taken away by Saudi police officers along with emergency medical staff soon after the incident occurred.

Two officials believed to be part of the Bauchi State pilgrims' contingent were also seen accompanying the deceased during the evacuation process. As of the time of this report, the identity of the pilgrim has not been officially confirmed by the relevant authorities.
