Details of the Fatal Accident
The tragedy that led to the funeral occurred on December 29, 2025, on a major road in Ogun State, Nigeria. Anthony Joshua was travelling in a car with his two friends, Abdul Latif and Sina Ghami, and a driver when the vehicle collided with a stationary truck. While the boxing champion sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in a police van due to the unavailability of an immediate ambulance, his two friends sadly lost their lives.
Both Latif and Ghami were laid to rest in London, with Anthony Joshua present at the ceremony to bid farewell to his close associates.
