Oluwatobiloba Olabisi Babalola stated that she and her husband were fixing a flat tyre on the side of the road when the high-speed collision occurred on Monday, December 29, 2025. According to her description shared in a Facebook comment, the accident happened "like a flash" and the experience was akin to watching a horror film.
The accident involved an SUV carrying the former world heavyweight champion and two members of his team. The vehicle collided with a stationary truck at high speed, resulting in a fatal outcome.
