Gaming giant Electronic Arts Sports has predicted the winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This marks the first edition of the expanded 48-nation tournament, scheduled from June 11 to July 19, 2026. It is the first World Cup held in the United States since 1994 and the first to be co-hosted by three countries since 2002.

EA Sports shared a post on its official X page, revealing that based on its simulations, Spain will emerge victorious on July 19, 2026. The gaming brand has earned the trust of fans by correctly predicting the winners of the last four FIFA World Cups: Spain in 2010, Germany in 2014, France in 2018, and Argentina in 2022.
Opta Supercomputer Confirms Prediction
This prediction aligns with Opta's supercomputer, which also forecasted Spain as the winner after running 10,000 tournament simulations. Spain is expected to claim its second World Cup title, with France, Argentina, and England listed among other top contenders.
