President Bola Tinubu has officially inaugurated the newly completed Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge in Lagos, emphatically describing the critical infrastructure as a tangible symbol of progress and a powerful catalyst for economic growth within Nigeria's bustling commercial capital. The significant 5.04-kilometre transport corridor, originally conceived and planned during Tinubu's own tenure as the Governor of Lagos State back in 2002, was finally completed and delivered under the current administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. This major project was unveiled to the public alongside several other key initiatives during the president's comprehensive working visit to the state.

Speaking passionately at the landmark commissioning event, President Tinubu declared that Lagos State continues to decisively set the national pace in exemplary infrastructure delivery and innovative urban development. Represented at the ceremony by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, President Tinubu also formally commissioned the modern Lagos State Geographic Information System (LAGIS) Building and a sprawling multi-agency administrative complex situated in Alausa, Ikeja. In a notable tribute, the administrative complex was officially named the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex (BATAC) in recognition of his foundational and transformative contributions to Lagos's monumental development over the decades.
Tinubu thoughtfully noted that the advanced LAGIS facility represents a decisive shift towards transparent, efficient, and technology-driven land administration, perfectly aligning with his administration's overarching Renewed Hope Agenda which is sharply focused on digital governance and accelerated economic growth.
