Federal Government Transfers 200 Housing Units to Kwara State in Landmark Handover
The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, has officially handed over 200 units of semi-detached houses to the Kwara State Government. This significant transfer occurred under the National Housing Programme (NHP) Estate, following the complete settlement of all financial obligations by the state authorities.

The handover ceremony was conducted at the estate located in Ogbondoroko, within the Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State. Represented by the Director of Public Buildings, Musa Abdullahi, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa, described this development as a major milestone. He emphasized that it reflects the government's ongoing efforts to expand access to affordable housing and strengthen collaborative ties with state governments across Nigeria.
The minister underscored that providing affordable housing remains a top priority for the Federal Government.
