A Nigerian graduate has shared his remarkable academic journey online, revealing that he sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) five times before finally graduating from university. Identified by the handle @urchmanny97 on X, he posted his academic history in a now-viral tweet. He explained that his first attempt yielded a score of 185, followed by 188 in his second attempt. His third attempt brought a score of 251, which enabled him to gain admission into a tertiary institution. However, he withdrew from school shortly after enrolling and decided to return to the examination process.

He registered for the UTME again, scoring 282 on his fourth attempt and 299 on his fifth and final attempt. He confirmed at the end of his tweet that he eventually completed his degree programme and graduated.
