American rapper Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, has shared a deeply personal update about his mental health in a video posted to his Instagram page. The artist, known for hits like 'Old Town Road,' disclosed that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has been undergoing treatment.
In the video, Lil Nas X explained that he had been in rehab for several months and is now feeling much better. He credited his therapist and psychiatrist for helping him manage his condition. 'I have a therapist and a psychiatrist now, which has really been helpful,' he said. 'When I got my bipolar disorder diagnosis, I felt like I had always known for the past few years, but I didn’t want to admit it because I didn’t want to take medication.'
