Ex-NFL Star Matt Kalil Sues Ex-Wife Haley Over Penis Size Claims
Matt Kalil Sues Ex-Wife Over Private Comments

Former NFL offensive lineman Matt Kalil has taken legal action against his ex-wife, model Haley Kalil, following her public discussion about their private life, which he claims has caused him significant distress.

The Lawsuit and Its Core Allegations

According to legal documents reviewed by TMZ and filed on Tuesday, the 36-year-old former Carolina Panther and Minnesota Viking is suing Haley for invasion of privacy. The suit centers on comments she made during a November livestream appearance on Marlon Garcia's "Mar-Athon" show.

Matt alleges that Haley revealed "highly intimate and private facts" about him, specifically regarding his penis size, which she described as "two Coke cans, maybe even a third." She suggested this was a major factor in the end of their marriage, which concluded in 2022 after seven years.

Impact on Kalil's Life and Family

The lawsuit states that Haley's comments generated "unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public," destroying Matt's desired privacy after retiring from the NFL. It further claims his family has been forced to endure the circulation of these "degrading and deeply personal statements."

Matt, who was a Pro Bowler in 2012 and remarried in 2024 to Keilani Asmus, argues that the fallout has also affected his current wife. The suit alleges Asmus has received messages that are "increasingly frequent, disturbing, and alarming in nature over time."

Matt is seeking a jury trial and damages exceeding $75,000, contending that Haley financially benefited from the controversy through increased social media engagement and media coverage.

Haley's Comments and Subsequent Response

During the viral livestream, Haley elaborated on the marital issues, stating the size was "the biggest factor" in their split. She humorously indicated the size with a gesture and mentioned they tried therapy and doctors. "Looked up lipo-type s--t… That's why it's kinda funny. It's like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself," she said.

However, in a November statement to Page Six following the headlines, the 33-year-old model expressed a different sentiment. "I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together," Haley said, adding that their conversation covered the love and growth in their marriage, not just the details that went viral.

The case highlights the intense personal fallout when private marital details become public spectacle, pitting a former athlete's right to privacy against a model's candid discussion on a public platform.
