Veteran music producer and Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has opened up about his early encounter with Afrobeats superstar Davido, revealing that he always knew the singer would achieve immense success.
During a recent appearance on the Zero Condition podcast, Don Jazzy recalled their first meeting and shared how Davido's passion and talent stood out immediately.

“From day one. I knew from the first time I met him. It's on the record on SoundCity, I did a programme then. I said, 'Oh, my top record today is 'Back When I Was Broke'. This guy is a producer, he's a singer, I think he's going to be the next me.' That's what I said then. I've always been his supporter from day one,” Don Jazzy stated.
