Final Moments of Alexx Ekubo's Burial in Arochukwu
A video capturing the final burial moments of late Nollywood star Alexx Ekubo has surfaced on social media. The beloved actor was laid to rest today, June 18, in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State, within his family compound.
Alexx tragically passed away on May 11 after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. In the viral clip, his wife Anwuli, along with other family members and loved ones, can be seen visibly emotional during the solemn dust-to-dust ritual held in the family compound.
The ceremony was a private affair, attended by close relatives and friends who gathered to pay their final respects. The video, shared by Linda Ikeji, shows the somber atmosphere as the casket was lowered into the ground.
Alexx Ekubo was a prominent figure in Nollywood, known for his roles in numerous films. His untimely death has left a void in the Nigerian entertainment industry, with many colleagues and fans expressing their condolences.
