The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has concluded a successful meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, approving a substantial ₦1 billion contribution toward campaign activities and nationwide mobilization for President Bola Tinubu's second-term bid in 2027.
Meeting Highlights and Participants
The NEC meeting, which ended on June 22, 2026, gathered members from all 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, zonal leaders from the six geopolitical zones, and representatives from diaspora chapters in the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and Europe. The group's National Spokesperson, Tijani Ali Danjuma, announced the resolutions in a statement to journalists.
Danjuma noted that the initiative aims to enhance TMG's operations nationally and internationally in support of national development and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the incumbent president.
Unanimous Endorsement of Tinubu's Leadership
The statement revealed: "After extensive deliberations on issues of national significance and the future direction of the organization, the Council unanimously commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership for what it described as courageous reforms and strategic initiatives aimed at repositioning the Nigerian economy, strengthening infrastructure, promoting investment, and advancing national development."
₦1 Billion Campaign Support
A key resolution was the approval of a comprehensive mobilization and support framework for the 2027 presidential campaign. TMG resolved to contribute ₦1 billion to campaign activities and nationwide mobilization, reflecting confidence in the president's leadership and achievements.
To fulfill this commitment, TMG has initiated consultations and fundraising across its structures in all 36 states, the FCT, six geopolitical zones, and diaspora chapters. Contributions from members, stakeholders, supporters, and partner organizations have already begun with tremendous enthusiasm, and the organization expects to meet its fundraising goals well ahead of the campaign season.
Tinubu Town Hall Meetings
The Council also approved the launch of Tinubu Town Hall Meetings across Nigeria and in key international locations, including the UK, USA, Asia, and Europe. This initiative aims to engage Nigerians at home and abroad, showcase achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda, and deepen citizen participation in national development.
Appeal for Support and Recognition
NEC members expressed gratitude to supporters and stakeholders, particularly those who donated office space to TMG in over twenty states and provided personal vehicles and logistical support. The Council reiterated its appeal to patriotic Nigerians, business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and development partners to support TMG through financial contributions, logistical assistance, office infrastructure, mobility assets, and sponsorship of programs and events.
Honorary Title Conferment
Additionally, the NEC confirmed that the esteemed title of Grand Commander of the Tinubu Mega Group (GCTMG), the highest honor of the organization, will be formally conferred on Dr. Azonabor Osade Eronmose on June 26, 2026. The award recognizes Dr. Eronmose's outstanding contributions to humanity, philanthropy, and national progress.
The Tinubu Mega Group expressed confidence that the resolutions made during the Port Harcourt meeting would further strengthen the organization's structures across Nigeria and the diaspora while advancing its vision of promoting national unity, continuity, and sustainable development.
