Reactions from Former BBNaija Housemates

Several former Big Brother Naija housemates have taken to social media to express their outrage and support for Ilebaye. Venita Akpofure spoke out against the 'irreparable psychological damage' caused by parental domestic violence. She argued that there is no justification for such brutality, especially against female children, and highlighted the long-term trauma it causes.

Beauty Tukura was at the forefront of efforts to rescue Ilebaye, using her social media platforms to mobilize assistance in real-time. She initially reached out for technical help when communication with Ilebaye was cut off, later revealing that the victim was located in Abuja.

Tacha also condemned the assault, stating that no one, including parents, has the right to assault Ilebaye. Phyna disclosed that she made efforts to involve security operatives and provided a fresh update on the reality star's condition.

Ongoing Investigation

The police have assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway. The arrest of Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya marks a significant step in addressing the incident, but many are calling for justice and protection for victims of domestic violence. The case has reignited discussions about parental abuse and the need for stronger legal safeguards.
