This prestigious recognition, reserved for distinguished global air power leaders, was formally awarded on April 10, 2026, at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, United States.

Ceremony Highlights Nigeria's Growing International Military Leadership

According to a statement released by the Nigerian Air Force on Sunday, Air Marshal Aneke was inducted alongside 15 other Air Chiefs and two Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force equivalents from various nations. This event underscores Nigeria's escalating prominence in international military leadership and strategic air power diplomacy. The ceremony specifically acknowledged senior Air Force officers who, after attending the Air War College, have ascended to the highest echelons of their careers as Air Chiefs or equivalent positions in their respective countries.
