Zamfara Residents Lament Insecurity Under Tinubu

Zamfara State residents have expressed deep lamentation over the persistent insecurity plaguing the state, asserting that no life is safe under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. An extensive investigation conducted by this medium reveals that many people believe if President Tinubu continues to govern the country, insecurity will worsen, leading to more deaths, with only a few suffering the consequences.

Residents Speak Out

According to Usman Bakari, a resident of the state, the situation has become more difficult than before. He stated that people can no longer afford two square meals a day, adding that they eat whatever they find, not what they desire. “Nigeria is a country, not yet a nation, and if the situation continues, Nigerians will rise up to defend themselves against this autocratic government,” he lamented.

Bakari further noted that nobody is happy with the Tinubu administration, as many businesses continue to collapse and people suffer from hunger and starvation. “We need strategic measures to correct this ugly impression, because things are no longer moving well for Nigerians. But the surprising thing is that the same people condemning Tinubu are the same ones who will re-elect him in 2027. So where are we going in this country, as the rich get richer while the poor get poorer? We are in serious trouble, but God Almighty has the solution to everything. I pray that one day the solution to all these problems will come,” he added.

Another Perspective

Another resident, Emmanuel Anosike, described the situation as beyond description, saying that the entire country has gone mad. According to him, if the founding fathers of the country were to resurrect and see the state of the nation they left behind, they would be utterly surprised.
