Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, has released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, showcasing robust performance across key metrics. The company achieved revenue of ₦22.41 billion, representing a 9 percent increase from ₦20.64 billion recorded in the same period of 2025. Profit before tax grew by 15 percent to ₦7.08 billion, up from ₦6.18 billion in Q1 2025.

Improved Profitability and Margins

The company's gross profit margin improved to 77 percent, compared to 75 percent in Q1 2025, driven by enhanced operational efficiency and stronger service delivery. The cost of sales margin declined to 23 percent from 25 percent in the prior year, reflecting the positive impact of effective cost optimization strategies implemented during the period.
